Miss Lizzy started dancing when she was 4 years old in a pre professional integrated program at BalletNova Center for Dance in Falls Church, VA. Teaching dance peaked her interest during her high school career by assisting dance teachers with their classes. Once she completed her first year of assistant teaching, she knew she found her passion. In 2014, she was accepted to train with the Joffrey Ballet in New York City for their rigorous summer intensive.
After high school, Miss Lizzy moved to the Hampton Roads area to attend Old Dominion University. At ODU, she was the recipient of the Dance Endowed Scholarship as well as the recipient of the American College Dance Association scholarship. Miss Lizzy has performed in numerous performances with the University Dance Theatre. Upon graduating from Old Dominion University in December of 2018, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She has been a guest artist for Salem High School's Visual And Performing Arts Academy, senior scholarship judge, as well as an academy judge. She enjoys teaching her students and helping them see their potential and growth through dance.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with my friends, including her fur babies, Bentley and Nala, traveling and spending time outdoors!
This year will be Miss Lizzy's second season with SSDA. She looks forward to an amazing Season 6 at SSDA!
