Assistant Director/ Dance Instructor
Lanna began her dance training at the age of 3, in Orange County, New York. She studied ballet, pointe, partnering, contemporary, Horton, jazz, Irish and tap. She spent summers at School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet and New York State Summer School of the Arts; School of Ballet, where New York City Ballet dancers taught her classes. Lanna has taught and choreographed for several dance schools throughout her dance and educational journey. She attended the State University of New York for her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Psychology and continued her education with American Military University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Psychology. Along with dance as a favored form of movement, Lanna has broadened her love of fitness and wellness by becoming a certified personal trainer, yoga, barre and advanced group exercise instructor; holding several other special population certifications.
Lanna enjoys teaching her love for dance and everything it has to offer, from the freedom music has to offer to the very specific articulation of the foot.
When Lanna is not at the studio or gym, she is spending time with her fur children, two dogs and a cat. She has several eclectic hobbies like playing video games, landscape photography, crocheting, reading, watching her favorite hockey team the NJ Devils, kayaking and hiking.
