Meet the Shining Stars Dance Academy Performance Company!
The SSDA Performance Company provides dancers with additional opportunities to perform, grow, and train throughout the season while representing our studio at local community events, conventions, and regional competitions across Hampton Roads and beyond.
At SSDA, our Performance Company is built on teamwork, dedication, positivity, strong technical training, and personal growth. We believe every dancer should be challenged while still maintaining a healthy and supportive environment where they can continue to grow both as dancers and as individuals.
For the 2026–2027 Season, our program will feature multiple pathways designed to meet dancers where they are in their training and commitment level, including our Development Team, Rising Star Team, and Shining Star Team.
Auditions are open to dancers ages 5+ as of January 15, 2027.
Audition Dates: May 31st, June 6th, June 23rd.
